At Foundation Printworks, we believe great relationships are built on clear communication and mutual trust. These Terms & Conditions are intended to help ensure every project moves smoothly from concept to completion.
Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 2026
By placing an order with Foundation Printworks, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Estimates & Quotations
All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on the specifications provided at the time of quotation. Changes to artwork, quantities, materials, or project specifications may result in revised pricing.
Orders & Approval
Production will not begin until all required artwork has been received and final approval has been provided by the customer.
Approval of a digital proof confirms that all content, spelling, grammar, layout, sizing, and specifications have been reviewed and accepted by the customer. Foundation Printworks is not responsible for errors approved in the final proof.
Payment
Payment terms will be established at the time of order.
Foundation Printworks reserves the right to require full or partial payment before production begins.
Completed orders remain the property of Foundation Printworks until paid in full.
Turnaround Times
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Production schedules may be affected by customer delays, proof approvals, material availability, equipment maintenance, shipping carriers, or circumstances beyond our control.
Rush services may be available for an additional charge.
Customer-Supplied Files
Customers are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork unless design services have been requested.
Foundation Printworks is not responsible for issues resulting from customer-provided files, including:
Low-resolution images
Missing fonts
Incorrect bleeds or trim
Color setup errors
Hidden layers
File corruption
Additional file preparation may incur design charges.
Color Variation
Every reasonable effort is made to reproduce colors accurately.
However, slight color variations between digital proofs, computer monitors, previous printings, and final printed products are normal and are not considered defects.
Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed unless specifically quoted.
Quantity Variance
Due to standard manufacturing processes, finished quantities may vary slightly from the quantity ordered.
Reasonable industry-standard overruns or underruns are acceptable.
Shipping & Delivery
Once an order leaves our facility, responsibility transfers to the shipping carrier.
Foundation Printworks is not responsible for delays or damage caused during shipping.
Customers should inspect shipments promptly and report any concerns as soon as possible.
Cancellations
Orders canceled after production has begun may be billed for work completed, materials purchased, and production costs incurred.
Returns & Reprints
If an order contains a production defect caused by Foundation Printworks, please notify us within five (5) business days of receiving your order.
Verified production errors may be corrected through reprinting or another appropriate remedy at our discretion.
Because each project is custom produced, refunds are generally not available except in cases of verified production defects.
Intellectual Property
Customers represent that they own or have permission to reproduce all submitted artwork, logos, photographs, trademarks, and other materials.
Foundation Printworks assumes no liability for copyright or trademark infringement resulting from customer-supplied content.
Design Files
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, original editable design files remain the property of Foundation Printworks.
Customers receive the finished printed product and approved final artwork intended for its intended use.
Limitation of Liability
Foundation Printworks' liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the products or services provided.
Foundation Printworks shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from any order.
Privacy
Information submitted through our website or during the ordering process is used solely for providing quotations, fulfilling orders, communicating with customers, and improving our services.
Customer information is never sold to third parties.
